Ok..I Have a 96 Honda Civic Hatchback. Im Kinda plannin in doing a full Alpine system. For the mids and highs for sure. My problem is with the low end. I Do want a 15" sub and more than 1000watts. The amp is going be dependant on the sub i get. Im considering the Type R 15, Fi Q 15, kicker L7 15, Really anything in the $250 ish range. I just wanna know everyones opinions and sugestions.
Thanks

Well the subs you are looking at are a little bit all over the place. IMO the L7, the FI Q, and the Type-R aren't really in the same category. I don't really like the L7 for low-end extension but I do like the FI Q for that. The Type-R is decent at getting loud and being fairly low.

Are you just looking for low-end from your sub or do you want more? By that I mean is sound quality a huge concern or is output more of a concern?

Im really just lookin for the most volume output for the price.I do want the bass to sound ok... But with the question "SQ or SLP" the answers definitely SPL.

I'm not much of a fan of Fosgate subs. I think you could find something better for the money....

If you were to look at FI Car Audio then I would look at either the SSD or the BL if SPL is more of a concern. The Type-R is a pretty good sub for getting loud. The L7 is a good sub for SPL as well but not great for any type of sound quality.

For an amp, I don't think that Audiopipe amp will be the best but take a look at the amp in the link here. It is a good deal and much better quality.

You could look at AudioQue as well. They have good amps and subs that would give you good SPL. Their stuff is priced pretty well.
