i work in the fabrication part of my shop. i've been put on double duty as an installer now in the audio/video department also so i'm needing to get mecp certified. I took a look at the basic installer study guide. Are the questions on the test really as basic as the questions in the sample test in the guide? when I was ase certified back in 2000 most test questions were technician A, technician B type. the questions in the study guide seemed very simple and just wondering if the actual test was like that?

the actual test is rather easy, it's been a few years since i wrote it so i don't remember the questions excatly. but i do remember thinking alot of the questions were more common sence. if you know what your doing with installing you shouldn't have to much to worry about. I would recommend reading the study guide just incase there's something your not 100% on.
