I just installed a new h/u in truck and set my gains properly and everything else. the h/u is a kenwood kdc993 exceleon. It has a feature called digital time alignment wich enables you to set the sound distance of each individual speaker. My question is this just a bs feature or can i really fine tune my sound with it ? Any ideas on how to do so?I was thinking of measure the distance from each speaker to the center of the cab of my truck . How does that sound? I dont want to mess with it because my system sounds really nice right now but there always room for improvement!!!!!Thanks in advance

The instruction on how to set it up are in the mannual. Or you can use the qyick sewt up on the position screen.
Once you use it, you will never have a Head Unit that does not have it. Hint, do not measure to the center of the vehicle. Measure to your head. It will sound great at the drivers seat. It will sound almost as good as it does now at all other locations in the vehicle.
The center of the truck is what you already have with no alignment. i am's suggestion is what you are looking for.

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
thanks guys i looked in the manual but only found the way to the dta setup not how you should align it . i will measure to my head and set it up that way.
