your local Alpine dealer should be able to take out most of your list.  why the clarion amp? i cant find it for sale anywhere and its not 1 ohm stable so make sure you get the dual 4 ohm type R.  you can probably get the HO alternator from iraggi or ohio generators but i dont understand why you want such a huge alternator  for a relatively small system. and you're not putting an amp of your highs?

I Chose the Clarion Amp Because it was recommended to me by someone on here, i looked into it, and it was the best quality for the dollar. Alpine ams are jus way too expensive to get the power that the type r 15 wants.
As for the amp for the highs.. Thats what the KTP-445 is. it boosts the signal from the head unit an extra 45 watts RMS
I would rather have Plenty of Current from the alternator to expand on. I don't wanna buy one now AND buy an even bigger one later. im too broke for that. lol. plus i plan on puttin several other electronic goodies in the car.

I think crutchfield might still have the clarion amp on sale for $180........good deal if so , You have to check in the outlet section of crutchfield..........The type r should be loud in your hatcback.

$%&^*@## The Clarion Isn't at Crutchfield Anymore!! posted_image
So Much For havin everything planned out...
Im now up to suggestions on an Amp.
I want a little more that 1000W RMS so I have room to turn it down and still get the full potential out of the Type R. And I don't want to spent more than $200. I also like a lot of Buttons and knobs to play around with. I can Compromise comming down on the power if needed to say in the budget.

About 1000W
Less than $200
Lots of Knobs

So I been doin some hunting and I've come across a couple seemingly good candidates:

Power Acoustiks BAMF2000/1D

Power Acoustiks GOTHIC ONV1-2000D

TMA T1000.1

Planet Audio BB1350

I'm leaning towards the Power Acoustiks products.. Until someone tells me to stop

Lol. Anyways... I'm Really fallin' for the Power Acoustiks BAMF 2000/1D. I mean.... It SAYS that its 900 RMS @ 2 Ohms and 1200 @ 1 Ohm... The Type R is 750 RMS... So... if the amp only puts out 70% of 1200, thats still enough to throw the RMS value into my sub.. This is all just thing out loud, so please make any suggestions and corrections.

By The Way, I can get the amp For a BEAUTIFUL $170

Well if you feel your self getting depressed about it just remember this.

1. Just his electrical up grades cost more than your car and system put together.
2. Just his amplifiers cost more than your car and system put together.

You should be pretty pleased with the output of a 15 with a 1000 watts. I recently did my brother-in-laws CRX with 2 Memphis M3 12s and a Crossfire 1000d amp. Ported of course. Its doing 145db at 35hz. and flexes his windshield a good inch. Civic hatchbacks are very good acoustical enviroments. I think you will be pretty happy.

Are you crazy, the Alpine V power is some of the best watt per dollar I've seen. The 2000 watt rms is only $500.

The letter B in the BAMF of the power acoustik amplifier does not stand for BAD as one might expect.  It's real designation is BROKE.

I realize that. I'm no longer so "Finally Planned out" lol. Now I'm lookin to buy a much better quality amp thats used. Today I'm going to call a guy about a Kicker 750.1 for $150. Thats why I'm temporarily skipping the amp and moving on to the box until I can find the deal I'm looking for.

i would have loved to reccomend the tma 1000.0, i have it pushing my audiobahn 15" immortal, and it just hurts in my 93 civic hatch.  its way too much. destroyed my rear wiper motor, pops my back hatch open.  its stupid, i like the amp and its only puttin out about half of what the sub can handle.  good luck
