I have a DVC 15 inch 6 OHM audiobahn Subwoofer..... I dont have the money for the other 2 subs i want so i have to just run this one as a single...... Alum15X 1000 W RMS & 2000w Peak. I know i want  a class D amp but other than that im kind of lost... Parallel wiring would give me 3 OHM or Series would give me 12 OHM's...

Before someone says it (get a new sub till you get the others).......I want this to work at least 80% of its potential if possible.... Money isn't to much of a problem for the price of the Amp, i just really need some advice or direction.

You simply need an amp that is 2-ohms stable, then wire your woofer in parallel.  Get any decent quality mono subwoofer amp that you like, build the proper enclosure for your woofer, power the amp properly and set the gain and Xover properly and away you go.

With that sub just get a 1000 watt rms amp,If it were me I would wait till I had my ENTIRE system ready to install and then go from there because then you'll only need to buy ONE amp istall everything ONE time and be done with your project. Just my opinion though

Okay cool so a 2 OHM stable will work, will a 1 OHM stable work also? The reason i ask is because the other 2 subs when i get them will be wired into a 1 OHM parallel 3 hole ported box..... thanks again for the responses and the response time its great this forum.

Yes.  The load rating on an amplifier represents the minimum load it it is able to sustain.  Any load higher than that will work.
