I have a rockford power hx2 12" rfr3112. I just got it reconed and i want to make a slotted ported box for it. I checked the rockford site and the only info they have is how to make a ported tube box. i looked online and found 2 useful links but i do not understand how to calculate the measurements and what length the slot port has to be. i want to make a box that is 17" high x 22" wide x 16.5" depth. I would liek it tuned to 35hz. i have no idea how wide the port has to be or how long to make it. the links i found are
https://www./help/Articles.cfm?id=31
https://www.reaudio.com/speaker_box/LPort_Box_Calc.html
the VB of the box is 2.76
the xmax is 19mm
if the measurents given are too small i can raise the dpeth a little and the height a little if needed. the width cannot be changed.
thanx in advance for any help.

i found a slot port calculator here on the 12volt it says that a 2" wide port 15.5" in height with 2.76 vb has to be 20.11400517657915" long
now is this the length of the entire "L" port or is this the length of the right angle inside the box? this is where i get confused. i hate sounding like a amateur rookie but i just dont get it.
thanx

It's the length of the port, including any bends if it is built that way.
