Whats up guys.

When I bought my car it had a old school punch 60xi dsm ( I believe thats what it's called, it's the black one) in it. I swapped that system out with 2w3's and a 500.1. Today I decided to re install the punch 60. I installed it and turned the bass up, and I BARELY had any bass at all.

Now theres 4 knobs, treble, bass and 2 gains(left and right). I can not find a small enough screw driver to turn the gains up, which tells me I never changed it. Any Ideas?

My setup;

HU: Eclipse AVN 5435

Punch 60 amp

kicker vr10

Remove the round cover from the bottom cover and make sure the crossover is in the low pass position. If you have a dual voice coil woofer, you could have the coils wired out of phase. If your radio does not have a dedicated subwoofer output, make sure the high pass filter of the radio is not turned on.

It's a 4ohm dvc sub. which is wired pos from amp to pos vc1, neg vc1 to neg vc2, and pos vc2 to neg on amp.

Other than that I have checked the amp and it is in low pass and my hu has a dedicated sub. now what?

You have the second voice coil wired out of phase. Negative of VC1 should go to positive of VC2. Negative of VC2 should connect to the right negative terminal of the amp.
