Disconnect them from the amp/deck... If you have a high-pass crossover anywhere before them, and you are feeding any kind of signal to them, signal-wise, you WILL hear them. There isn't any other way to prevent them from making sound, dude... Simple, really...

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

also i should add. when i turn the master volume on the EQ up just a little, my front left speaker doesnt play as loud as my front right speaker. and when i mentioned earlier when the master volume on the EQ is all the way down, its the left rear speaker that only playing (playing at a low level sound, very annoying).

sorry fellas if im being a pain. id appreciate it if you can help me out. im trying my best NOT to go to any local audio shops.

Actually that was pretty funny. :) Easy fix though. Just unhook the EQ.If that fixes your problem just go ahead and throw it in the trash. problem solved.

Hard for us to know you have done that already. When all you keep saying is when I do this and this with the EQ, it does this. All your symptoms are based off explination of using the EQ. NOWHERE have you said it does this with the EQ disconnected and running off of deck power.

So you are saying that if you remove the EQ and turn the radio to 0, the rear speakers will still be playing.  And when you disconnect the EQ, and turn the volume to 1 or 2, the front left or right speaker is going to be louder than the other??

I am putting up 100 dollars on this one.  Any takers?

It's aliens broadcasting mind control signals directly into the voice coils of those speakers.  DON"T LISTEN TO THEM!!  If you do you'll soon turn into a brain-eating zombie who only buys Sony Xplode gear!!

Really...? Seriously...?

Disconnect the speakers that you don't want to have sound come out of. Go to the speaker, remove one of the wires from a terminal, either the positive or the negative, and voila!, no more sound from that speaker!

I'm curious to know how *we're* the "faulty" ones, when *you've* got the POS equalizer in *your* system, causing *you* the problems, after *we* told you not to put one in!

I'm'a double that 100 dollars!
