I got my stereo yesterday and looking over the diagram it lists 4 of the wires on the harness as "Not Used". The harness is 4pins x 4pins. Iv seen the 8pins x 2. Anyone know what these are for? I'm looking for one to hook up the antenna trigger. Also Iv searched around for a aftermarket color code and haven't found anything that listed more than the basic constant, switched, ground. Anyone know of a good site or have this handy?

You want the blue wire
Or if it has a blue wire with a white stripe, use that

Thanks!

Do you happen to know if that will power the antenna only while the unit is in the radio mode just like the stock stereo or is it powered whenever the unit it turned on?

Also any clue on what the other wires do?

If you have the one with a white stripe, it will only be powered when in Radio mode. The solid blue wire is powered when the Head unit is turned on.
There may also be an orange wire? that would be the Illumination

Blue/white is the remote turn on lead and will power the antenna whenever the radio is on, no matter the source.

Solid blue is the power antenna wire and will power the wire ONLY when it's in tuner mode.

If it has a solid blue wire use that for your antenna wire...

Cool! It has 1 solid blue and no blue/white.

ORANGE / white is listed on the diagram sheet as dimmer but isn't listed at all in the owners manual. Orange is listed as illumination lead in the owners manual but listed as not used on the diagram sheet. Whats the difference between the two? Which should I use?

illumination tells the lights on the HU come on. Dimmer makes the HU lights darker

Hooked everything up and antenna didn't pop up. So I pulled out the DMM and got nothing off the blue wire. Same with radio on or off or switching through any of the fuctions.  Pos or neg.  Any ideas?
