im starting to put together my system and im looking for some input, so far heres what ive got:
1 - Hifonics XX Goliath
1 - Hifonics XX Jupiter
3 - MTX 9512-44
2 - MTX tc6.1
1 - pioneer deh-5100ub
2 - kinetik 2800
1 - costom wound 300amp alt.
all in a '93 explorer

If not for the pioner deck, I'd wager the equipment listed is worth more than the vehicle mentioned. Forget the pioneer deck, you'll have serious noise issues with the way-high output of that alternator. Buy ANY kind of deck other than a PI-un-ear.

Pioneer is fine as long as you follow the installation manual.

Yea, every pioneer Head I've put in after joining the 12 Volt, I just go ahead and solder the RCA sields to th chassie before that problems even arises.

great point ragsports.....For those who say pioneer sucks look into the DEX-P99RS
