where are these gains located on the unit?..the deck is a pioneer premier deh 510..thx in advance !!!

hmm..well i'm planning on buying a soundstream 6xo preamp, but when i read the manuel on the soundstream website, i saw that you have to adjust gains on the deck...do i hav to buy another unit whch has ganis to match the premap?...or could i tune the preamp as normal ?

No idea if that unit has the feature, but turn on the source you want to adjust, scroll through the audio menu and look for SLA.  Source Level Adjust.  That was my answer after reading the subject line. 

Then i read your later post, I think they are saying you need to adjust the input gains of the EQ to match the Preamp output level of your deck.
