hi i need to know if is possible to install a 2008 chrysler cirrus stereo in another vehicle, cause somebody tellme these is a canbus stereo and is not possible cause need computer comunication to work, please help me tanks

my car is a dodge shadow convertible 1993 and the stereo is a 2008 canbus chrysler stereo OEM of cirrus journey charger is single disc mp3 with aux and hands free

As far as I know, nobody has made an adapter to do what you wish to do. Your friend is 100% accurate in what they are telling you. There are manufacturers out there that build things to go the other way. Allowing you to put an aftermarket radio in a can bus vehicle. I just do not think there is enough of a demand for them to build a reverse application.

ok so no body knows how to do these and if some body know he just dont wan to share but as far as i read it can be posible to do using a computer wat i trying to do is to get a chip that can be programed with the can bus messages so at the time i start my car it sthart sending thous mesages to my stereo to turn it on i'll post back if i get any luck
