Hey guys,
So i'm having a problem, It looks like the 12V switch wire coming from my 92 Geo metro is not working, I can eject and put cd's in, but when i turn the ignition on it doesnt turn the cd player on.

My question is: Is there anyway to bypass that single wire, and possible connect the 12v switch wire from the cd player to another place in the car. I've also thought of setting up a switch that runs straight from the battery if all else fails. basically I am flat broke and cannot afford to have it professionally done at this time but i want my music!

Thanks for the help guys,
Brandon

Look for a fuse labeled "Radio"  Of check every fuse in the vehicle, you do have a blown one.

Why not tap into accessory wire in your main harness?  As I am an Idiot stated, your problem is most likely a blown fuse.  Is your dome light and cigarette lighter working?
