First the vehicle is a 2007 Yaris Hatchback. I have already purchased a JL Audio 13W1v2-4, so I will be using it. I would like this to be as stealth as possible. Probably going to go with coax speakers. Here is what I had in mind.
Alpine PDX-5, (Keep in mind I dont have much room, its going under the seat.
JL Audio 13W1v2-4
Alpine Type-R SPR-17C front and rear.
Double din head unit ????
Sealed box in the hatch area? Need build dimensions.

I was just told that the Alpine MRP-M500 will blow away the PDX-5 on the low end. Maybe that and the Alpine MRP-F300 would be a better choice? What do you guys think?

yeah i would go with the 2 amp setup. i personally never liked the 1 amp does all type of thing. as far as the speakers have you looked at infinity? better imo amd would be a little easier on your wallet slightly.

Well I have purchased the Eclipse EA4200 and  XA1200 amps. This will help me put more into the speakers. I need 5.25 speakers for the front doors and 6.5 for the rear. Fronts are limited to 2.5" depth. Do you think the rear should be just a mid-bass or a coax? For the front I was looking at the Polk MM series. Thoughts? Help is appriciated.

ok well seeing as your car is small you could do midbass for the rear and get good coaxials for the front stage. however you run the risk of your audio system being too bassy because its a small car. the jl w1 can get surprisingly loud for an entry level sub and you mightg want to keep that in mind when looking for speakers. as far as your polk speakers go i have heard their older model stuff and wasnt too impressed so unless they improved greatly with their new stuff i wouldnt. infinity would be a good choice. i like their speakers are generally clear and crisp but not harsh.
