everytime i turn off the car or turn the car on i get a weird noise coming out of my subwoofers. i have 2 12" alpines and the amp is phoenix gold amp. Some one told me its because i ran the rca on the same side of the amp wire  but i never heard of that. The car is a 93 civic and its like a thumping noise but once the car is on and running i dont heard it. only when the car is turned on or off. Thank u in advance.

unplug the RCAs from the amp and turn the car on. If it still bumps, there is a problem with the amp.
If it doesn't then most likely
faulty RCAs or Headunit. Are u using the FACTORY unit?
