I need the wiring diagram for a Mitsubishi Lancer, 2008. I am upgrading speakers, I need to know correct wiring (+/-) thanks in advance.

When you cut the plug off of the end of the wire, leave a couple inches of wire. Strip the end of the wires of the plug. Plug the plug back onto the speaker. Using a 9 volt battery, touch and hold one wire to one terminal of the battery. Now touch the other wire to the other terminal of the battery. If the cone moves away from the magnet, the positive battery terminal is connected to the positive speaker wire.. If the cone moves toward the magnet, you have the positive wire connected to the negative terminal of the battery.

thanks, I am an idiot, but the problem is a bit more complicated, I am helping a neighbor install a pair of tweeters in the front sail panels, the Lancer already have the wiring, with a small connector, but no indication of what is - or +. The plug has to go, and I would like to connect the tweeters in the correct phase. So, if is anyone here with access to the wiring diagram, that would be great. again, thanks in advance
