I am replacing the dash speakers in my newly acquired 1995 chevy 1 ton van. The drivers side speaker is the easy one. Any easy way to get at the passenger side one to remove & replace it? Thanks

I have always ripped them out from the top of the dash, and cover the holes with a grill. It looks cooler at the end.

Actually the dash has to be removed to access the right speaker. Sounds like a lot of work but not really! I have owned three of these vans and have upgraded speakers in all. First remove all 10mm headed screws under the edge of the dash-(five or six) Second, drop column down-(two large bolts) Third, remove all phillips screws along the top of dash. You should be able to pull the dash back far enough to access both speakers easily

GOOD LUCK!
