I have installed this unit and it works great, but the screen flashes from dim to bright. If the unit is turned off, it does it with the clock also. The numbers are bright, then the screen will flash and turn bright and the numbers turn dark. Have I hooked a wire wrong somewhere?

Nope, I have that model...it is like a reverse effect, right? You can turn it off when the unit is off. IIRC, if the unit is off you can turn it on/off by holding in the number 5 or 6 preset button...let me know how it goes.

Also, look here for the owners manual. You have to register with them first though. Oh yeah, after reading the PDF owners manual, it was the 5 button while the car was on but the HU is off. I also have the P-600 wireless remote. The older keychain remotes work as well if you can find one.

Hey thanks I tried what you said and it worked. When pressing the 5 or 6 button it puts it into a demo mode. After viewing the demo I shut it off, turned it back on, and it doesn't alternate anymore thanks 2G Sport.
