Hello,

Can anyone tell me where the factory infinity amp is located in a 2001 Mitsubishi Montero Sport. I have looked under all the seats and nothing is there. I wanted to ask someone before I started tearing the walls apart in the back of the car. Any help will be appreciated.

If I remember right it is in the driver side panel in the back. Someone back me up on this one though, because it has been forever!!

Did you check under the front passenger seat thoroughly? Might be a bit tough to see it if you just took a glance. If the carpet is dark, you won't be able to spot it easily, but that is where it should be.

For a '97 under the right rear seat. Yours could be the same place. If its not there it would imagine it would be in the rear quarter as yimke stated.

Also they make a factory amp integration harness. Around $25-30. Metra harness 70-7003. To bypass if you are installing an after market HU.
