How do you instal a hi and low adapter to a factory navigstgion radio on a 2004 cadillac escalade. I tried getting it from one speaker but the radios volume keeps going up and down

Where did you grab the wires for it? If at the deck, then you HAVE to go after the amp.

i grad the wire that goes directly to the left speaker in drivers side. the color is BROWN / yellow

I grab them under the cupholders in the center console. If I remember right the colors are red and black. They are by themselves on a clip leading to the factory sub.

You probably grabbed the wrong wire. Did you test for resistance between the two wires? It should be around 8 ohms for the Bose setup. Also WHERE did you grab it from? In the door boot or at the speaker? Like I said if you are doing this behind the navigation unit, this will not work.

Go to the amp under the center console and grab your BROWN / yellow there, or tan/gray.

Get he wires in the kick panel harness to the rear. Either side.
