Do I need a crossover for a stereo that has 3 pre amp or I can go direct to the amplifier? I also want to add a Epicenter

You never HAVE to have a crossover, ever. A crossover is optional, no matter how many outputs your deck has.

What deck do you have, or what/how are the RCA outputs labeled?
