I tried to find if anyone else asked about this but couldn't find anything so if it duplicated sorry. I have three issues...
The stereo from my 2002 Jeep Liberty was stolen. They cut all the wires. It was an after market JVC. I was going to try and replace it myself and I figured out all the speaker wires, the ignition wire, and the dimmer wire no problem but I am having an issue identifying two of the remaining ones.
1)There is one that is yellow with either a brown or a purple stripe and one that is a dark green. I am ussuming it is a + and - to something. I already have the green one that goes to one of the speakers so I am not sure what this other green one is.

2) There are 2 pink (battery wires) and 2 black (gound wires) coming from the Jeep but only one wire for each to hook to from the stereo. Do I just hook both wires from the jeep up to the one wire on the stereo or leave one of the two unattached?

3) When they cut the wires I am not sure what happened but my dash board lights don't work anymore and on just the passenger side the running lights don't work on the front or back but the blinker and brake lights work fine. Did they blow a fuse some how or could it some how involve the remaining wires?

Any information is greatly appreciated.

Yeah that much I had already figured out. Thanks for trying though.
If any one else has any suggestions feel free...

How did you verify the speakers? Ohms or did you pop the speaker with a AA battery?

The Yellow/purple if I remember right is a speed sense wire, so don't worry about it. And the dark green, I'm not 100% what it is. Just don't connect it.

Same as the aftermarket harnesses, you will connect your two pink wires together with your yellow. Also your two black wires car side will connect to your black on the aftermarket side.

If you don't get sound, then you have the infinity system and you need a turn on wire, but I don't think it is.
