Have a customer that wants a double din in a lincoln town car. I hear shaving is involved in this but is it just cuting the outer panel around the faceplate or is it more difficult than that to get it to fit since its not a true double din.

Did you do it?  Did it fit?  From my understanding a double DIN unit will NOT fit since the opening can only accomodate a DIN 1/2 unit.
