Forgive me if this information is readily available, but I searched this forum and the only place I found listed in a post is no longer operating (at least their webiste isn't).  And I Googled it, but everything that comes back is how-to's on making the enclosures.

If I plan on making my own fiberglass box, where can I purchase the mdf rings to mount the sub to?  I can make everything else, but I don't have a router and it sounds like trying to get the perfect circle with a jig saw is just about impossible?  If I buy a 10" ring, will that fit *any* 10" sub I buy or should I have the speaker first?

ebay has listings too. Simple search for 10" mdf speaker rings pulled me up quite a few, both top and flush mounted rings.

Every 10 inch sub is not the exact same though. Mounting diameters will vary as well as the total outside diameter a bit. getting a ring for simple top mount should not be a problem at all. If you needed to make the ring a bit larger for the sub to drop in it should not be a problem with a little sanding and would never be seen with the sub in. For a recessed mount, I would make for sure the ring would work for sure for the outside diameter.
