I have 2 Power acoustik A1800DB amplifiers, and 3 12' Sony Xplode 4ohm 1200 watt subwoofers, I want to bridge the amps together, one master and the second slave, should I wire the subs parallel or in a series, and what ohms will it be after parallel and series

I am not familiar with the capability of those amps. If the amp is 1 ohm stable, you can strap the 2 amps into a 2 ohm load. If the amps are 2 ohm minimum, they can be strapped into a 4 ohm load.

Is the final result greater than or less than 4 ohms? If below 4 ohms, you better not play it any more.

I dont know what the end ohms result is, thats what I was hoping to get help with, Ive had my amps for going on 3 yrs and have never had trouble with them, They push any speakers Ive ever tried on them very nicely, and bridging them together has always worked very well also, but now im trying 3 subs instead of the usual 2, and I usually ony run them in series, so this being a first time in parallel and 3 subs, I really wanted some advice so I dont burn them out

I put alot into my car, 1/0 power and ground, 1.0 cap, fused grnd and power distribution blocks, the best rcas from Rockford fosgate, Kenwood fullface touchscreen dvd cd radio, 3 way crossover, Kenwood 1000 watt 4 ch amp, Dynamat in the trunk, Im even currently working on upgrading the Big 3, so I have been reading for hours, everything I can on here (12volt.com) about system building, and I still dont understand all about ohms, and I have been installing amps and radios for myself and friends, not professionally, for about 16yrs, not embarrassed to ask for help, tooo expensive not to.

What is the impedance of each speaker? Are they single or dual voice coil?

Sorry I took so long to rep[y, but all 3 subs are 4 ohms and I got the specs on the amps..

so I do think they are 1 ohm stable, question is are they still 1 ohm stable when strapped together, one is master and other is slave, and have 3 4 ohm subs in parrell, or should they be in series, man I hope this helps

If an amp is 1 ohm stable, 2 of them can be strapped into a load no lower than 2 ohms. You could parallel 2 4 ohm drivers to achieve a 2 ohm load. I would not paralel 3 drivers.
