I bought a sony radio over 2 years ago, and at the time it accepted my ipod directly to the unit and even showed the songs on the head unit. However i bought a new ipod and it is a 4th generation nano and my radio does not play it. My question is are there new adaptors or cords that will help my unit play my new ipod?

That is something you will need to talk to Sony about or a dealer about. I know with Clarion, they are usually " in development" and they tell you they are working on it. If they can not do it, they will tell you on there site.

This PAC piece should solve your problems. I have not tried with a Sony but it has worked on several other brands. PAC IS710
