Yes on the Y adapter question. We need more info to answer the woofer question. What is th impedance of the woofers? What is the minimum safe operating impedance of the amp?
subs are 4 ohms. amps min imp. is At 4 ohms, the amplifier is able to produce 100 watts of power for 4 channels. At 2 ohms, the amplifier is able to produce 150 watts of power for all 4 channels. does this tell you anything ? sorry dont know much about this stuff yet.. the amp is just a visonik V417SX if that helps.

if that would not work what do you think about a pioneer GM-X862. 760 watt 2 channel amp i also have laying around i could use just for the subs and leave the 4 channel for the other 4 speakers ?

Wiring the subs as you described will be a 2 ohm mono load. That will not be good for that amp, nor for the 2 channel pioneer amp. You need to wire one woofer to channel 3 and one woofer to channel 4. If you insist on bridging those channels on those woofers, you must wire the woofers in series.
Option 2 (series) = 8 ohm load Speakers wired in series Recommended Amplifier: Stable at 4, 2, or 1 ohm mono |

Disregard the colors on the ends of the y adapters. Connect the left RCA cable to one Y adapter. Connect the 2 outputs of that Y adapter to both left inputs of the amp. Connect the right RCA cable to the other Y adapter and connect both of those outputs to the right channel inputs of the amp.
red is always right side correct...
