just wanted to no if it would hurt hooking up two amps to one speaker ?

mtx 9500 15 , speaker

2- memphis st1000d amps

Yes it can be done. For a while when Alpine was making digital amps it could be done with ease. Using the amps you mention, as long as you can match the outputs from each amp to each coil, your in business.

You're in business as long as the outputs are matched and in phase. Get it wrong, it's gonna be ugly.
