just one question, im doing the big 3 on my grand marquis, and the altenator wire is going into a circuit breaker and then a line is going from the breaker to my amp. when i run my 0 gauge do i have to run i through the breaker as well or can i go straight to the battery and continue from there?

I would say as long as that breaker is only supplying power to your amp and NO other devices you are ok. However, you will more than likely need to replace that breaker with fusing adequate for the 1/0 cable (250a) is safe but 1/0 can be fused at 300a.

JUST MAKE CERTAIN THERE ARE NO OTHER DEVICES OFF THAT BREAKER.

If there is, I would just add the 1/0 directly to the main battery with correct fusing and correct fusing on cable from battery to the amp.

another question, how important is it to upgrade the engine ground? 1 because i have no clue as to where the ending bolt is on my engine ground, and 2 is there anywhere else i can ground it other than the same point where the current engine ground is?

Yes, you can find a spot on the frame and land it there. If you have to drill, BE SURE to disconnect your battery terminals first. Don't want to be replacing any ECM chips prematurely.
