i have 10 10" dual 4ohm kicker cvx's now i'm trying to find out if i run 5 subs down to 1.67 ohms would i then be able to use a 1ohm stable amps?????? or would i need to try and use either 8 subs or 12 subs and run them down to 2ohm and use 3 of my 2 ohm stable amps????
for example if i used 12 subs and ran 4 subs to 2 ohm and used 1 amp per 4 subs, or could i use 10 subs with 2, 1 or 2ohm stable amps and not have them clipping on me? please help if ya could

You can wire as many speakers as you like however you like and as long as the total net impedance is higher than the amplifier's minimum rating, it will supply power to them.
