what's the formula for calculating watts on any amp..eg : a boss chaos 3000 mono block...I know you hav to add all the fuses and u do the maths...posted_image

Any 2 known values, can be used to calculate the 3rd value. In your case you want to know (P)-Power, measured in watts. You know your (R)-Resistance, measured in ohms. Hopefully you know the (E)-Voltage measured in VOLTS:) of the system. (E x E) / R = P <---after those maths(<---) There will be a efficiency associated to amp type, it will take more maths(<---) to get a estimate of the actual rating you're looking for. I believe its called (pf).
