I'm looking for a wireing diagram for a 2001 Chrystler Town & Country for the premium autio pacage. The radio In my wifes van has power and will put out sound if I hook up a speaker that i have in my garage but when I plug the speaker wireing plug into the radio there is no sound out of the 8 speakers in the van. I did fine a wireing diagram at autozone.com that is very generic and it has what they are calling a "name brand speaker relay" but I can't find the dang thing anywhere in the IPM or under the dash.
Any help would be gratly appreciated.
Here is the diagram I was refering to.

the IPM, under the hood, has the relays and fuses labelled underneath the top cover. i believe the relay in question to be located in the front left corner? you'll need to find the negative switched coil wire (term 85?) on that relay and extend it to inside the radio opening. then using a SPST or SPDT relay (bosch type is fine) , have that relay supply a ground which is activated by the remote amp turn on lead of the radio. careful work with a file a soldering iron will allow attachment of the lead to the desired coil terminal in the IPM.

Is this the factory stereo that has power and no sound or an aftermarket that you have installed?
a factory amp might need to be turned on. Does the radio play audio? a CD?
It is the factory radio.
It has the premiem Infinity sound system so I thought that it might be a problem with the amp but I can'nt find it. I tried hookin up another stereo to the speeker wires at the radio harness and still no sound out of the speekers.
did you ever locate the relay marked 'name brand speaker relay'?
from the pic you posted, check for power at the relay, terminals marked 30 and 86. if the radio is turned on, does the relay click...check for ground on term 85.
check for power at the radio choke, i believe it is under the driver's side dash. the amplifiers are at each of the speakers, that's why it shows the splice S314.
if no relay click or power at the radio choke, temporarily jump term 30 to 87, then check for audio.
