I am installing a Blaupunkt Buenos Aires 200 to an old Land Rover. Power,earth and fuse are OK. Get slight static for a second or two, no illumination, then nothing.Does the Remote Turn On wire need connecting to (power?)posted_image

the remote turn on is an OUTPUT not an INPUT.  Make sure you have 12vdc on the constant and switched wires and the ground grounded.

And the ONLY way to check the above is with a METER.

And also use a dmm to verify that the fuse is good. Looking at it isnt as foolproof as you would think.
