hi all,i have a clarion db625mp headunit.i plan on adding a relay because im adding some amps and a couple cooling fans.the problem is there doesnt seem to be a remote turn on wire.there is a power control wire which is blue/white.can i hook up the relay to this wire or is there another wire i should be looking for?the only other free wire is the power antenna wire.any advice will be much appreciated, thanks
According to EIA standards (which all head units made within the last 4-5 years follow), the remote turn on wire is the blue/white wire, or if not present, then you use the solid blue wire. Each manufacturer seems to have their own name for the remote turn on wire. "Rem-amp", "System control", "Amp", and your "power control", just to name a few. But they all mean the same thing. Beware however that a lot of times ones that say "Rem-amp" will also have one called "Rem-ant" and if you don't pay attention it's easy to accidently pick that one.

Sounds like the blue/white wire is the right one but one way to find out is if it powers up and stays powered up when you turn on the deck
Here is a diagram that explains what each color wire dose
