hey,

I've been away from this hobby for such a long time I am completely out of date. I tried doing some research and I see the usual manufacturers (Alpine, JL, Kicker,) but I have also noticed quite a bit of new manufacturers.

I still a 12 Brahma that has hardly been used. It is currently in a 1 ft.³ sealed box. I'm looking for recommendations on what amplifier I should use with it. I was looking at some old school PPI Art series & Orion stuff but they are actually still quite expensive. So, should I try and locate one of these or would it be safer to go new and if so, what would you recommend? Thanks

SPECS

soo.... based on this chart i'd say an amp that delivers at least 900W RMS.

I'm not familiar with this woofer, is it single or dual voice coil? 2 Ohm, 4 Ohm, 8 Ohm? need more info plz.

if I remember correctly, I think it's a dual 2 ohm.

I was hoping to get away with just a 600 W. I was looking at the PPI A600.2. Although I am keeping and eye on a couple Orion's that are a little stronger. I was hoping to get advice on newer amplifiers and whether or not I should buy something newer. It's just I have always liked these old amplifiers.
