I would like to connect a portable MP3 player or CD player to my Factory installed AM/FM Cassette deck in a 1994 Dodge Dakota.  Would anyone have advice on how to connect a stereo mini-plug like you have on a pair of headphones?  I'm guessing I would have to wire it somewhere before the amp but I'm not sure what that looks like.

Any help would be great!

thanks,

Andrew.

You need to get a mini-jack to rca like this  https://www.dvshop.ca/cables/multi.html they sell them @ radio shack and like stores. Since Your car dose not have aux rca input  you will need to get a FM modulator https://www.crutchfield.com/S-MHGow8ZAyXc/cgi-bin/prodview.asp?i=020FM200S So you will go from your cd/ MP3 player to rca then connect the rca cables to the fm modulator and then it will play on a fm station on your radio.
