I m tying to install an aftermarket radio in 94 eldorado I have power and all it is not a Bose system and I do not think that there is an factory amp installed I can not get sound from the harness in the car I have installed plenty of radios in gm vehicals including caddy and I know the speaker wires are fActory gm colors which they Are at the speakers but they are diffeent in the dAsh I would hate to rewire the car any help would be appeciated

Amp should be on the back of the rear seat along with antenna connections.  You may have to do an amp bypass

If you check metras site they give 2 options as far as harnesses and both say they bypass the factory tuner.  One is for bose systems and one is for without.  they are 17 ft long harnesses cause you have to run them to the back seat.

Both Bose and non-Bose radios have the receiver/amp combo in the right side of the trunk near the wheelwell. You can get the harness or wire directly, see the diagram I have linked.
