No rules to speak of... Any person qualified to install such, should also understand why the setup is not a common configuration, so you're all good. I'd love to see how it turns out.

Most would install one amplifier per DVC 4 ohm sub, making each amplifier loaded at 2 ohms.  If you just happen to have four smaller amplifiers that you need to use, you would be connecting one voice coil per amp, at a load of 4 ohms on each.  State your gear's manufacturers and models for better help.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

sorry,

I have 4 of the pyle 15" dvc 4ohm subs, max is 3600 watts, i have no amps i can use evenly,(ie i have 3 new 2500 rockfords,5 - 3000 watt boss amps,2 lanzaar max 4000 watters... so i might sell some to get 8 of the same or buy more to make up the lesser of the amps?

i believe the RMS of each sub is 1800 @14.4v?

all zero gauge wire,ANL 350amp fuses, deck is the OLD alpine bass work deck, with all the bells and whistles from around the early 90's.

I laughed sooo hard it hurts!!

I would suggest that u use one of the fosgate's at 1 ohm.
which model fosgate do u have?
If its a power series then there is PLENTY of power there to rip those pyle pro apart.

" i believe the RMS of each sub is 1800 @14.4v?"

Ok...Ok.. give or take a watt or two....why not! I mean first they are putting out power, but now they are giving ratings too!

TWO ZAPCO 4kw cubes! That's my vote! 8-g's for 8-g's of amplification, that outta make a mess of those Pyle's eh?

Or, 8-T1k's, plenty of room for those in a ex-cab p/u!

ok i missed the joke i guess?

if its 3600 watts max, then by rights a safe guss is 1/2 of max was the RMS level?

and yes power series,I understand steve meade is running them now ?

LOL. the joke was the 14 volts. thats not a rating for a woofer. lol

anyways, yeah the t25001Bd will definetly be Enough to feed these speakers.

Wire them in parallel, and parallel to the amp. 1 ohm load, for maximum power out of the amp.

Now, lets talk serious.
The enclosure you choose will have the most significant effect on your install, more than which of your amps you choose. Need a speaker model #.

ok, ty, umm the first subs were going to be the PLCHW15 from pyle. Sold them last night, monday i will have  $1200 to order 4 more subs in that price range, so here are my ideas:

#1 lanzar opti drive 12" #opti1233D 6000 watt max

#2 RE audio xxx12D 2000 watts RMS

#3 hifonics OLM2412 12" 4800 watts max

#4 ?? any suggestions..

ALL of my choices above will be a order of four  (4) subs.

also FYI i will be paying wholesale, not retail...long story.

wholesale, NOT retail...i have $1200 bucks from the 4 15" subs, i can sell the amps im not using and probally pull another $1000,  i said befor i could sell what im not using, the XXX run around $580 wholesale, the optidrives run around $200 and the olympians i believe are near $250 or so..

so im leaning to the XXX real badly..lol..NOW if i could get this enclosure to fit!!! the truck shrunk 1/4 inch somewhere!!

i was triing to put it all in the cab.....,i tried putting the enclosure in tonight and it looks like the truck shrunk a 1/4" all around.

the bed is cut for lowering it,  the  inner fenders replaced with boat lookin fenders, i finished replacing all the rusted parts and pcs, (fenders doors) just the rocker on drivers side to finish,BUT the enclosure is messing with me badly, it weighs around 150#'s and is LARGE,ill be PEEVED if it dont fit, sold my 15" subs for nothing i guess..

93 s10 ex-cab,4.3 auto w/od short bed

Yaaa, I am trying to visualize 4 15's and then two amps/sub. That's more like a SUV inventory... A pair of Stroker's and a Zapco cube! How, where, why do u plan to fit everything?
