I have had several different answers on which auxillary adapter would work with my 2007 Chevy Uplander. All I want is to be able to plugin an mp3 player/ipod or use my 3.5mm jack from my blackberry to listen on my stereo. I don't want to spend $100 but I also don't want those cheap FM Modulators that have awful sound. Specs on stock stereo: Am/Fm, CD. NO Nav, XM, Rear AV DVD, It does have Aux Button and Band Button. NO RCA Plugs on back.

Any Info or something that works good will be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked out pac-audio.com? It appears to list some options for you

Yes....and there it costs like $115. I guess if im gonna pay over $75 I'll just buy a different stereo, but was just wanting to keep the stock stereo.

Thanks for the reply!

get a hardwired fm modulator, not to be confused with an fm transmitter. the modulator plugs in to the fm lead and plays at fm quality with no static and no need to change stations.

modulator $45
antenna adapter $15
reverse antenna adapter $15
miniplug to RCA cable $10

so if you install it yourself, $85.

keep in mind that the wire harness for that to put an aftermarket radio in is somewhere between $100 and $140 depending if you have bose, onstar, or both.

you can get the radio to work with a $20 harness, but i dont recommend it as you can have problems with the car. most people will argue that all the bad things that can happen from taking the radio out are myth but i have seen some bad stuff happen.
