Greetings,

I have an AVIC N2 that has had the upgraded ribbon cable repair done about 2 to 3 years ago. The system is malfunctioning again...blank screen, stations changing by themselves as well as the volume going up and down automatically. Does this sound like the ribbon cable issue again and if so, how difficult is the repair? I know I can get the cable on ebay for 50 to 60 dollars, but how difficult is the repair?

Do you have tons of patience? They left out the "Do not try this at home" notice in the service manual. it is not a very difficult task, but by far not the reccomended first radio repair for anyone.
