hey all,just wanted to get everyones opinions.ive finally gotten everything to finish the system in my '89 crx.the only thin i need id the front speakers.im going with components but i want opinions on speakers.i like the infinity kapp perfects,but ive also seen the mb quart q line.ive seen both sets on ebay and thats probably where ill buy them.the infinitys are a good deal cheaper than the quarts but id be willing to spend the extra coin if the q's are worth it.u guys all seem pretty cool and i really appreciate your input.thanks

Both are very good speakers but definitely mb quarts if you can afford them, they are worth it.

Trust me spend the extra coin and get the MB Quarts. And yes they do sound better. Infinity does make a good speaker but still doesn't compare to MB's

MB's are German engineered speakers and the company only manufactures home & car speakers. They have great R&D and have been making speakers for along time. Not that Infinity is not a good company, but they haven't had the experience that MB's have.

You be happy with either one, but if you got the extra cash, go with the MB's.

No offence,but i don't think Infinity is in Mb Quart's league.I like saying a Corvette and Porsche 911 Turbo are the same,no they are not...they both are sport cars but the 911 T is far more superior in every respect.

ok,seems pretty easy.i guess ill go with the mb's.i know i mentioned the q series,are those the only ones u guys recommend?or are other mb quart separates good?

The Q in part of their flagship line,but really they are all good sounding speakers.You can go their site and see their other series then go shoping ( eBay Q series in 6.5 or 5.25 just shy of $ 600.00 without shiping),hope that helped.If you really wanted to know Mb Quarts competition check out Focal and Dynaudio (both from Europe,French and Danish).

Personally I would stick with the Q series now in the Q series they have 2 models the QM and the QSD.
