i have a stock head unit in my dodge ram that wont play cds. it says that it has the built in 6 disc changer but when i hit the load/eject button nothing happens. it wont let me insert a cd and it wont eject the cd if there is even one in there. it doesnt even sound like the motorization is working to eject anything. when i hit the mode button which is supposed to select between cd/sat/am-fm modes it only shows am-fm and sat modes. i dont know if this is a problem with the head unit or if it could possibly not even have the cd mode available. any help would be great. thanks.

Take apart the unit and see if there's a CD jammed in the mechanism.
