Iam putting a pioneer double din dvd player in this aurora. It calls for a GMOS -09 with the dock and lock style harness. Wired it up per the instructions, cycled the key, head unit came on with sound so i turned it off to unhook it to finish the install. Put everything back together and in the dash and the head unit is on with the key off. So i look at the wiring to see if something was crossed but i didnot change anything when i did my final install. And now it has no sound. Called tech support and they told me to unhook the battery for 10 minites to let the data drain off the power. So i did that and still the same thing no sound and its always on. This olds is a 2000 on the sticker on the door 04/00 and its has no on star and its a bose system. I ran out of time to get back with metra's tech support so if anyone here has any ideas let me know. Thanks.

I forget what wire it is, but you need to turn on the Bose amp. The harness is pinned wrong. You can test for it by plugging the factory deck back in and seeing what wire gets 12v+ when the radio is on. Then disconnect the radio and check that wire again. It should read 0v at all times with the radio disconnected. You then need to connect your amp turn on wire from your pioneer deck to that wire.
