ok well i have i jl audio w7 its about 3 years old! well 1 day idk what happend but it just wasnt working no more! one told me it was frozen watever that means! im guessing its blown! its just stiff you cant push it down or nothing! any ideas of what is wrong with it and if its repairable? thank you 4 your time!

It's fried. It'll require reconing at a minimum, or complete replacement.

What amp are you running to it? If you're dramatically overpowering it, the warranty'll be void.

yea thats what i was thinking! the amp was a kenwood  kac-7203 so i dont think it was putting it to the max! to recone it would i have to send it in to a shop or could it be done! the woofer was my bros and was just sittin der so i wanted 2 see if theirs anything to fix it or just toss it? i dont think it has warranty eitherway! thanks again!

It's a good woofer. Send it back to JL, and get it reconed. Cheaper than buing a new one!
