image is a quick example of how these subwoofers are wired, not sure what ohm load would be on amp.

If the negative non bridged terminal is broken, both of the non bridged terminals are connected together.  Simply connect the left negative wire to the right positive screw along with the right positive speaker wire.

The diagram you posted will be a 4 ohm load.  4 ohm mono is the same exact electrical load as a 2 ohm stereo load.
