1) consider where you will securely mount the amp

2) what would be the maximum size that you can mount the amp and make the input\output and pwr connections?

3) is that space breathable enough for the amp to not over heat? Could you add fans later if it gets too hot?

4) what is the low level output voltage of the audio source? HU?

5) what is the output pwr (in watts) of your current HU?

6) will you need 2 channels or 4 channels?

7) do you want better sound quality than you currently have or just more volume? or both?

I don't have a particular amp suggestion, it sounds like you have lots of choices for what you want to do.

Find some sites like Crutchfield and Amazon com and search for Car audio > AMP and set the price from $250 - $350 and sort the results by reviews and customer satisfaction etc.

If you have any questions about the specs post them in this thread and folks will be happy to render some opinions.

Happy Hunting

Sound Stream is owned by Eplison Group which also owns Power Acoustik, SPL, Kole, and Farenheit. All these brands are a good price point with Power Acoustik being the flagship, and Sound Stream being a little higher in price being their Top Shelf audio.

Polk by name is the winner but I would shop which has the better on board features like a flexible crossover rather than fixed, bass boost, multiplier for the HPF, that and price point of each would be where my decision landed on.
