i am trying to install a cd player in a 1989 ford crown victoria. i have haynes manual and have wired it and have power but no sounds from the speakers after matching the speaker wires. also have 3 wires leftover ORANGE / blue, blue/red,and a solid blue,they don't seem to be listed in the manual. i have already cut the wires so a harness is no help(first timers mistake) help please

i ahve printed that and will try it, so i am assuming the antenna wire connects to the wire that says antenna trigger, and the illumintaion goes to the hot with ignition?

the head unit's remote turn on, or power antenna wire goes to the antenna trigger wire.  The illuminiation wire you don't need to hook up for the deck to work properly. In fact, unless you're totally positive of the hookup I wouldn't connect it as an incorrect hookup can damage other components in the vehicle

your power ant wire goes to the blue mute wire on oem side
