Hello, I have 2 pairs of Fosgate T1652-S components in my truck. Im currently shopping for a better amp for them, possibly a 5 channel for sub too. Ive noticed that multi channel amps have different rms for different ohm loads. All my components are 4 ohm, so what is the ohm load from 8 4ohm component speakers?  Also the mids are 100RMS each and the tweeters are 75RMS each.  With a pair hooked on same wire, does this mean i need a amp that that has 175RMS per channel?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

The TOTAL load of the component system is 4 ohm for each pair.
So you have a SET of components for each door i assume.
If this is correct then your amp will "see" 4 ohms per channel.
Unless you meant you have 8 pairs of components(two sets on each door)? then you wire all the speakers of each door together to each channel of the amp, and the amp will "see" a 2 ohm load per channel.

Thanks icearrow, i have i pair in each door. Was confused because each speaker had "4ohm" on it, so i wasnt sure if each channel was seeing 2 ohms or 4...
