my setup consists of:
1 Power Acoustik BAMF2000/1D monoblock amplifier
1 Power Acoustik 2ohm DVC MOFO brigded to 1.3ohms
1 VR3 1Farad digital capacitor
All 4guage power/ground cables

ok so my situation is my amp clips/shuts off for split seconds when the volume is turned to about 75%...and also i hear clicking sounds from the amp while the subwoofer is not running... is this because my amp's gain is not set properly?

This is impossible.  If it's a DVC 2-ohm speaker, it can be wired for 4-ohms or 1-ohm, but not for 1.3 ohms.

Check your voltage from your amp ground, is it mounted and/or are you using spacers under the amp for air flow? Is it in a location where its getting air? Whats your wire size?

its over loading turn down the gains. check the way you wired your subs the amp may not be able to push it. check your grounds and make sure they are not tied into the seat belt.
