i have a honda elite moped with a 12v battery. i was wondering if i could put a 20w rms 2ch motorcycle amp on the moped.

p.s. i do have an extra battery for the moped.

i don't know what kind of battery is the one for the moped, but 20W RMS x2 channels means that the amp will need AT LEAST 40 AMPS of electrical current. If the battery can deliver this then there is no problem. Happy listening.

You will be fine. The amp you are using is more than likely just an output chip from a radio.  5 or 6 amps max. 

There are no pedals on a Honda Elite.  It is classified as a Scooter.
